With every show there is always a selection of information or contact details that many of you are keen to find out about. That's why both the Ryan Line and the Office phones are busy every day with your enquiries and why we try to put as much information online as possible....so we can occasionally break for lunch!
The Gerry Ryan Show kicked into life in March 1988 as part of the new schedule on RTÉ 2FM. While the other shows on Irelands No.1 music station were, not surprisingly, music- driven, Gerrys show was just that little bit different.
Gerry likes to talk. And so do the Irish. It was a match made in Broadcasting Heaven. From the very start of the show Gerry looked to his new audience for their thoughts and opinions on everything from unemployment to underpants. Nothings too sacred. Not any more. If you need to talk about it, you need to talk to Gerry!
Now in its 21st year The Gerry Ryan Show attracts a daily audience of just under 400,000 across the nation.
