Ryan spoke to actress Caroline Grace Cassidy about the downfalls of the film and TV industry - rejection. Caroline says it's always been a struggle being an actress. You get knocked back time and time again and you just have to keep getting up and brushing yourself down. The industry is very clique-y and you see the same faces at every audition. Rejection doesn't really get any easier the more you experience it. She says it's like going up to a guy in a bar and he says 'go away, you're disgusting!' So she decided to take a new path and wrote her debut chick lit novel 'When Love Takes Over' which hit the shelves today.

Sinead went out with her husband for 8 years before they got married. Their marriage only lasted 22 months. She had a fabulous engagement ring which she loved and put it away in a safe place. People used to ask her what she did with the ring after her separation - so she sold it and got about 1300 euro for it. Off she went to Vegas for 5 nights with a great pal and had a ball!

There's a new online service for people who might like to get rid of what may be unwanted gifts from relationships that went sour. It's a website called www.NeverLikedItAnyway.com and it was set up by a woman called Annabel whose fiancée called off their wedding. She set up the site and sold all the trinkets he had every bought her - for a knock-down price.

Louise Heraghty, fresh from reporting the sports news on 2fm joined Ryan this morning to tell him all about a very alternative treatment that she witnessed in Ulf Stahlberg's clinic in Wexford town - Leech Therapy! Leeching is one of the oldest treatment methods around and has a very broad range of uses in various fields of medicine. Treatment begins by placing the leech on a pre-selected spot on the skin and allowing the leech to affix itself to the skin by means of suction, using its miniscule teeth to cut its way into the skin. If this sounds like something you could survive, visit www.wexfordbodyinbalance.com for more info!

Ryan spoke to Kay who lives in Kerryteel, North Donegal. She felt the effects of an earthquake in the area last night. The British Geological Survey registered a quake measuring 2.2 on the Richter Scale shortly after one o'clock this morning. Kay was in bed but wasn't asleep when she became aware of a noise similar to thunder. It was like an explosion.

Following on from the engagement ring stories and whether or not to return them when the relationship ends, Ryan spoke to Romy about her mum's engagement ring. Romy's parents separated after 14 years when she was 10. She liked her ring so much that she melted it down into a pendant. They separated for 6 years, had a good think about it and got back together! She got another ring with lots of diamonds - and no plans to melt yet!
