On today's show...
Ryan spoke to Barry whose 4 year old daughter Mia is terrified of emergency services - the gardai, fire brigade, and ambulances. Anytime she comes in contact with any of these vehicles she freaks out, crying and throwing tantrums. Even the mere mention of the gardai sends her into a fit. It stems back to when she was taken to hospital in an ambulance when she was 2. They can't bring her to parades. They've tried everything - even introducing her to Barry's friends in the gardai. Barry's desperate to find help for his little girl.
Mary got in touch after listening to Barry - she's a Child Therapist and suggested that Mia would benefit from sessions of play therapy. It's the best medium for little ones to work out their problems. She has been put in contact with Barry to arrange a session.
Ryan spoke to Rory O'Connor who is the creator of Rory's Story Cubes. Since being mentioned on the show, Rory says business has been booming. They've won numerous awards throughout the year. Check out www.storycubes.com for more details.
Rachel called in to confess her 'turkey pleasure' - the film Meet Joe Black. She has the video and DVD and watches it all the time with her hubby John. She loves Brad Pitt's sex scene and reckons Anthony Hopkins is the business.
