Here's what happened on Today's show....
Ryan spoke to Sinead Power who last night had to move out of her home in Priory Hall in Donaghmede in Dublin. Sinead is in work today and after work will be staying in a hotel with other residence. Sinead has no idea how long the hotel accommodation will be available and if she will ever get back to her home.
Ryan read out an email from Dara and Trish Campbell. In August their daughter Alannah and her friend Rachel decided to write a message in a bottle with their return address and launched it into the sea. In September a letter arrived for Alannah and Rachel from Port O Warren in Scotland. A couple who clean the beach every week had found the bottle and are now pen pals with Alannah. Despite the 50 year age gap they have a lot in common and have a shared interest in books.
RTE aired the new show Pan Am last night. We wanted to see how true to life the series is. Ryan chatted to former Aer Lingus cabin crew member Liz Howard. Liz joined Aer Lingus in 1967. She worked on the Trans Atlantic route and stayed in the best hotels in America. Liz was trained in 1st class service and were taught all the aircraft procedures and how to save a life! Irene Liddy joined the chat. Irene joined Aer Lingus in 1961 at the age of 22. Irene didn't enjoy the show. Irene loved being a member of the Aer Lingus cabin crew and was always proud of her position and the company.

Theresa and her neighbours have a competition to see who can get their Halloween decorations up first each year. All the parents and families dress up.
Ryan also spoke to Siobhan from Donegal. Siobhan has 5 children from 13 years down to 3 weeks old. They have a busy house and love celebrating Halloween.
Triona also contacted the show and offered her house. Triona lives in Clare. Triona and her neighbour's families dress up and go trick 'r' treating together every year. They have a big Halloween party every year.
Nicolas Roche joined Ryan in studio to talk about his new autobiography 'Inside the Peloton, My Life as a Professional Cyclist'. Nicolas is the son of legendary Irish and World Champion Stephen Roche, Nicolas had to fight to make it as a professional and fight even harder to make his mark in the tough competitive sport of cycling.
