The IMRO New Sound stage makes it's first appearance at Oxegen this year and its line up is made up exclusively of upcoming Irish talent. So far today we've seen performances from Ruth Anne Cunningham (above), Stone Motion, The Brilliant Things (below) and a handful of others. Without sounding a bit OTT but what we have seen from this stage so far has been nothing but epic! If ever there was a reminder that Ireland's music is as strong as ever it is here. These acts have really been putting it up to there internationals mates on the other stages - this is 100% guaranteed Irish, and it's brilliant.
And the best thing about it is that there is plenty more to come. Tonight David Kitt's gig will be broadcast on 2fm and you'll be able to listen to all of the sets here for the next week. You won't want to miss a thing.
