Jenny caught up with Emily Kokal from Warpaint in Lynchburg Tennessee over the weekend and has that interview as well as live highlights from their set from Electric Picnic.

Mr. Jack's Birthday

Saturday October 15th was one of the annual highlights of the music calendar as Mr. Jack's Birthday Gig returned to Lynchburg, Tennessee, for a night of music in one of the most awesome settings imaginable at (the oldest registered distillery in the US) the Jack Daniel Distillery.

Plan B, as with all the other artists performed with The New Silver Cornet Band, named after the original Silver Cornet Band, created by Jack Daniel to entertain the distillery workers and people of Lynchburg in 1892, marking the start of over a century of involvement by Jack Daniel's in music. Comprised of such legends as guitarist Steve Cropper (Booker T And The MGs) and David Hood (Muscle Shoals), all the artists played their own tracks and classic songs with the band

Joining us from Warpaint to play with The New Silver Cornet Band, will be vocalists Emily and Theresa.  The opening act this year was US new hip hop sensation K.Flay
