Join me on the Women's Mini Marathon and run for Camara!  I am planning on running it but there are loads of walkers and power walkers too. I think i will take advantage of the free training sessions on Wednesday evening to get motivated.

Join Camara at the Flora Women's Mini Marathon, June 1 and take part in optional weekly training sessions in Dublin, taking place every Wednesday, 18:30 at St Stephens Green, meeting point, front gate, and every Sunday, 09:30 a.m. at Martello Tower, Sandymount.

Camara is an Irish Charity, that equips schools in Africa with refubished computers, educational software and IT training. Please help us raise funds to enable schools in Africa to avail of a computer lab, IT teacher training and educational software.

Sign up with camara, at www. camara.ie for your free Race Kit and then  register with Flora Women's Mini Marathon directly to secure your place in the race. You can do this by visiting their website, www.womensminimarathon.ie and registering online or by filling in a form from the Evening Herald, every Wednesday and Saturday.

Win a Trip to Kenya, to visit Mombassa and the Island of Lamu and see what your and other people's fundraising can achieve there.
Every 250 euro raised for Camara during the Flora Women's Mini Marathon, earns you another ticket in the draw for the chance to visit Mombassa, Kenya and the Island of Lamu, to see some of Camara's work.  €250 1 entry, €500 2 entries, €750 3 entries etc.

Draw will be held, end of June. The Winner will travel out in November/December with a Camara representative to visit Camara's hub in Mombassa, and then head up the coast to visit schools that Camara has equipped with computer labs, including on the beautiful Island of Lamu. Prize will include flights, accomodation and in-country transport.

*Draw only open to Women.
Thank you again for joining Camara in the Race to Educate!

JENNY HUSTON WITH WOMBATS LIVE AT OXEGEN 08

RTÉ 2fm, Friday 20 March, 9.30pm

At first, The Wombats were a joke they didn't want anyone to find funny. But this was back in 2003, when The Wombats were enrolled in Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts (LIPA). Yet, it wasn't too long before Liverpool had to start taking The Wombats very seriously indeed. Ditching the sanatorium moods and comedy outfits they set about playing their infectious punka pop deviance around Liverpool and beyond. After supporting Kaiser Chiefs in Europe and Babyshambles on their Christmas 2006 UK tour, The Wombats signed to 14th Floor Records mid-way through what scientists believe to be the longest and most excruciating UK tour known to rock: 50 dates with around 4 days off. Simultaneously, the latest single Kill The Director became not just another dancefloor hit but a real-life big boys chart hit too, hitting Number 35 in the UK charts, June 2007. Their first real album, The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation made it to 11 in the UK album charts.

Recorded by RTÉ 2fm on the O2 stage at Oxegen on Saturday 8 July 2008.

Plus all the great new singles!

JENNY HUSTON

Friday 9.30pm - Midnight- New and timeless indie rock and pop.
