IN MY MOTHER'S SHOES - ALISON WALSH

As Mother's Day approaches, Gerry was joined in studio by Alison Walsh, author of 'In My Mother's Shoes' who told us how her own plan to become The Best Mother in the World didn't quite match up the reality of family life!  

AMERICAN HOLIDAYS AND DISNEY COMPETITION WINNERS

Alannah and Aoife Dalton were the winners of the recent American Holidays competition held on the Gerry Ryan Show and they spoke to Gerry this morning...They filmed the Ad in February and they had a wonderful time, they are heading off for the trip of a lifetime to Disney this summer as part of their prize...the Advertisement goes out today on RTE 1 at 11.58, 16.55 AND 10.42.

IRISH DANCING

Sharon's little guy is doing Irish Dancing he's doing it for the last 3 Years...any of the Trophies he has won all have girls on them and he's noticed...She just wanted to know if there are Trophies that you can get with boys on them...

ULF JOHANSSON

Lars Vilks is the Swedish Cartoonist with a Bounty of €100,000 on his head for depicting Mohammed with the body of a dog, Ulf Johansson is Editor of the newpaper that published the controversial image and he spoke to Gerry today...subsequently Gerry also talked to Ger Colleran Editor of the Star Newspaper...
