Hey Everyone. We've arrived at The Electric Picnic...finally. Traffic nasty and mud aplenty but tents pitched and with high anticipation we venture forth. So who's on the agenda the for day 1?

Friday: Lykke Li

Strange one this. Her set started brightly with "Dance Dance" and "I'm Good I'm Gone", tunes that suitably aroused the jammed Crawdaddy Stage. However the momentum faltered afterwards with a few slower numbers and (quite unbelievably) a Kings Of Leon cover. The recovery process had to start - and it did - "Breaking It Up" - a particular highlight. But we were left with the impression of a slightly underwhelming set when compared to her sold out Button Factory show earlier this year.
