Jape has graduated from stage to stage at this, his self confessed "seventh Electric Picnic". While it may not be quite that many, it's a sure sign of his rapidly increasing profile and prominence on the Irish scene that his show in a nearly full Electric Arena was charged with one of the most electric atmosphere's of the weekend. "Strike Me Down" was deployed early and set the tone for a set that pleased both newcomer and die-hard alike. "Floating" was a predictable hit but it was set-closer "I Was A Man" that pushed the crowd over the edge and this gig into something special.
