Therapy? Are Back!

There have been rumours going around that they've spilt up, but they haven't - Therapy? Are back! Andy and Michael came in to chat to me on the show last night, and told me about their twelfth album 'Crooked Timber'. If you missed it, take a listen back to last night's show.

Therapy.jpg

As you'd expect with Therapy, they have a big European tour lined up - this band never do things by halves! I'll have plenty more new tracks from the album on the show this week, and next (and the weeks to come).

New Music On The Show

There's A LOT of really good new music out this month, and I'll be wading my way through it over the coming weeks. Over the next few days though, you'll get to hear the long over-due new single from Yeah Yeah Yeahs 'Zero'. Maybe long over-due is a bit unfair as it's only bee around 18 months since their last EP, but it's been worth every second of the wait! It's taken from their forthcoming album 'It's Bitz', which is due for release on April 10th.

Yeah_Yeah_Yeahs.jpg

Other bits and pieces include the latest from Dark Room Notes - 'Let's Light Fires' is the first single from their Debut album 'We Love You Dark Matter'. You'll also get to hear new tracks from And So I Watch You From Afar, Depeche Mode, Therapy?, Royksopp, Giveamanakick, Distractors, PJ Harvey & John Parish, A Plastic Rose and MANY, MANY others!

Good New For U2

U2's 'No Line On The Horizon' is on course for # 1 tomorrow with phenomenal first week sales which are greater than the rest of the Top 20 combined. The previous first week's sales record is held by the group's 2004 album 'How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb'.

no-line-on-the-horizon-artwork.jpg

The success is repeated elsewhere with the No 1 position wherever the chart has been returned. So far, that's # 1 in France, Belgium, Japan, Finland, Poland and the Czech Republic 'No Line On The Horizon'. is also set to be # 1 in the UK when the chart is announced on Sunday which will bring U2's total of  # 1 UK albums to ten, which equals The Rolling Stones and just one less than Elvis (11 # 1 albums) and five behind The Beatles.
