Today of course is 09.09.09, or aka Beatles Day because all The Beatles' studio albums are being re-issued in remastered form for the first time ever.
To mark this historic day, we got our listeners to vote all morning for their favourite Beatles track so that at 9.09am on the Gerry Ryan Show, we could play Ireland's favourite Beatles song.

AMANDA TALKS TO COLIN FIRTH
Our own Amanda Fennelly took time out yesterday to have a chat with Colin Firth, the actor made famous by his roles in Pride and Prejudice and Bridget Jones but who actually has done a lot more than that, he just often doesn't get the credit for it.
He's starring in a new movie called Dorian Gray and spoke to Amanda about his character, his co-star Ben Barnes, his sex symbol status and his delight at being awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and he also told us about his favourite Beatles song.
