SPONGEBOB SUPERFANS
Ireland has two entries among the five finalists in Nickelodeon's search for SpongeBob's super number one fan. Courtney and her sister Lauren who are from Limerick plus Hannah from Dublin are in the running for the big prize which is a trip to the United States. They have been chosen from over 700 entries from the UK and Ireland to be part of the final five.
The girls in Limerick did a hip-hop rap to digi cam and sent it off and you can see their entry and Hannah's entry too on the Nickelodeon website plus the visit of the Nickelodeon film crew to both their homes. It's all there on www.nick.co.uk/superfan
So now it's all down to voters so make sure you log on to support these Irish girls and give them a chance to win the grand prize and be crowned SpongeBob's Superfan.

This week, Jacqui started off our Recommends slot by suggesting people go along to see the musical Chicago at the Gaiety. There's only a couple of nights left in the run and Jacqui is going along herself and is very excited about it. Meanwhile, Colm recommended that listeners take part in a special charity event in aid of the Jack and Jill Foundation. It's called Ladies Who Lunch and it's taking place at the Becketts Hotel and Restaurant in Leixlip on September 26th. The event will consist of a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival, a three course lunch, followed by a unique display of local fashion and a raffle.
