Now the Celebrity Sunday train moves on and this Sunday 7 March RTÉ Rugby experts Tony Ward & Brent Pope will take over the airwaves as 6 Nations fever takes hold.

 Each week the two guys will be playing a selection of songs plucked from their own personal collection. These two rugby experts are used to talking about tackles, forward passes, refereeing and squads, so tune in this Sunday evening to hear Tony and Brent reveal the songs that motivate the Irish Rugby Team. Find out which famous band Brent was a bouncer for, back in New Zealand. And listen in for the story about Brent being asked to leave a concert for jumping on stage with the singer!

 Brent Pope on becoming a DJ: "This is something I've never done before but I love radio and to be asked to co-present a show on 2fm is a massive honour ... It will give me an excuse to play some of my favourite tunes including some New Zealand bands; there will be something for everyone."

 
Rugby commentator Tony Ward says: "After the success of Nicky Byrne's show the last few weeks I am looking forward to being on the radio airwaves with Popey and playing some good music. I haven't done any radio presenting either before so this will be a challenge for us both but I'm sure we will enjoy doing it."

 
Westlife's Nicky Byrne proved to be a huge success in the Celebrity Sunday slot over the last four weeks. Nicky's show went on to become the 3rd most popular trend in the world on Twitter last Sunday.

 
Celebrity Sunday is a new strand of programmes on RTÉ 2fm where well-known lovers of music share their own personal mix-tape. Some more big names are set to appear over the next few months of 2010. The programme is one of several new shows on 2fm, including The Tommy and Hector Show and Ballbusters with Andrew O'Connor and Jacqui Hurley.
